Hunter’s Kitchen

This restaurant/bar wouldn’t be out of place in a location a little less... corporate. It’s a diamond in the rough of what was once a culinary wasteland, St Kilda Road.

The staff are very knowledgeable and attentive and the range and quality of the menu is excellent. The owner, who has a habit of rescuing stray dogs (true story), is welcoming and knows hospitality. There are beers on tap in the front garden space and heaters in winter. The best choice for dinner & drinks along this stretch of St Kilda Road. Mains around $20.

Step-free / Accessible toilet (BC, GR)

Good: Generous staff & great food
No so: The accessible toilet can double as a cleaners room/supply store
